Covington GSI Teaching Development Fund
The Martin V. Covington GSI Teaching Development Fund
This fund will be used to provide support for assisting Graduate Student Instructors (GSIs) in developing the teaching skills and knowledge they need to be effective teachers of undergraduates at Berkeley and at those institutions where they will be hired as future faculty.
In memory of Martin Covington, former UC Berkeley psychology professor, this named fund honors his legacy of fostering GSIs’ ability to facilitate student learning.
